ABOUT AARON

Aaron Pocock was born in England in 1970 and has lived in Brisbane since 2000. With over 30 years painting, illustrating and tutoring experience, Aaron has illustrated books, video game and food packaging, tattoo designs, catalogue art, technical manuals, cafe art, canvases and murals and (almost) anything else required. A versatile artist, Aaron is comfortable using many (sometimes multiple) mediums, working in different sizes, and rendering varied subject matter. In 2011, Aaron was chosen to illustrate the Australia Post commemorative stamp set 'Mythical Creatures' for Australia 'Children's Book Week' which was produced in a 3D capacity (a first for Australia), coins were minted and spin off items made (see link below)
